A rare and attractive Shassavan long rug from the Moghan step. Cruciform medallions woven on blood red madder ground framed by fat ivory borders. The piece has a charming drawing and exceptional wool and colour. a striking, authentic and quite early item that should excite the connoisseur. Full pile over 95% of the piece, very slight wear in one area, no repairs. Deep cleaned and floor ready.
